This week Heatseal installed double glazed windows in Quindalup for a local Bed and Breakfast: The Toby Inlet. The new replacement windows were installed to the guest bedrooms and the owner’s living quarters. The aim of the new windows was predominantly to keep out the noise from the adjacent main road as well as the added benefits of keeping the rooms cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
The proprietors main concerns were with a high percentage of European guests, unfamiliar with flyscreens, were looking for a solution where there could be a flyscreen but the guests could also still open the window, without having to remember about putting the flyscreen up and down.
Healseal’s technical department designed a fixed flyscreen combined with a winding handle traditionally used on the aluminium range of windows. This gave security, ease of use and alleviated all issues of having to remember to put up or down the usual retractable flyscreen used with a UPVC window.
The Bed and Breakfast guests can now enjoy a peaceful and comfortable sleep, with the new noise reducing and thermally efficient double glazed windows, installed by Heatseal Double Glazing.
